SINGAPORE, 2 APRIL 2009: Cable&Wireless Europe, Asia and US (EAUS) has launched the first end-to-end fully managed telecom expense management (TEM) service for customers in Asia Pacific.

According to the telecom company, this managed service enables large, multinational organisations to significantly reduce expenditure as well as gain greater visibility and control over their telecommunications-related expenses.

TEM is a fully managed service, which allows the IT and finance departments of companies to better manage their telecom resources and reduce expenses, said a company representative. Cable&Wireless is the only service provider in the Asia Pacific to be able to deliver a fully managed TEM service today.

“Telecom expenses are probably the most opaque corporate expense today,” said Nick Lambert, managing director worldwide and president Asia Pacific, Cable&Wireless Europe, Asia & US (EAUS). “CFOs and CIOs within our customers’ organisations are under pressure to cut costs as well as gain greater control of expenses. Being a carrier’s carrier and a leading enterprise network service provider, Cable&Wireless is uniquely positioned to work with enterprise customers and their carriers to deliver a differentiated TEM solution that enables our enterprise customers to meet their critical business needs for greater efficiency.”
