KUALA LUMPUR, 14 OCTOBER 2009 – Malaysian retail management solutions firm Goldsoft has become the latest member of the Malaysian Retailer-Chains Association (MRCA), as part of an expansion plan.

“Goldsoft’s admission as an associate member of MRCA only seeks to reinforce our commitment to provide retailers in Malaysia with the best enterprise solution based on their business needs,” said Goldsoft sales director, Alex Lim.

Lim said that MRCA, which was founded in 1992, is one of the largest retail associations in Malaysia with a membership that includes 80 major chain retailers.

“A large number of retailers in Malaysia, particularly in the fashion segment have been using Goldsoft’s solutions for the past 12 years to boost profit margins by automating and streamlining business processes, such as inventory control, finance and sales,” said Lim. “Goldsoft’s success can be attributed to its ability to provide proven retail solutions to fulfill the unique requirements of each retail business.”

Lim said Goldsoft customers range from major retail companies with local and international brands to smaller chain stores in Malaysia. “Goldsoft’s solutions are also deployed in the international outlets of its customers in the surrounding countries.”

“The goal for next year is to continue expansion plans locally towards the southern and eastern parts of Malaysia,” said Lim. “The company is also interested in venturing to countries such as Thailand, Singapore and Hong Kong.”
