SINGAPORE, 2 APRIL 2009 – OrSiSo, a recently launched social networking tool, has won the Mobile Monday Singapore award for best startup.

OrSiSo aggregates and simplifies multiple social networking sites through one easy-to- use application available both on the PC and on mobile, the IT company said.

“This system helps you organise and simplify your online social life; giving you back the time needed to socialise with your closest friends while keeping in touch with everyone across all your social networks,” said Thorben Linneberg, founder and chief executive officer of OrSiSo.

“We expect to see exceptional growth in 2009 and 2010,” he added.

According to the IT firm, the award aims to reward and recognise the exciting innovations emanating from the local mobile industry. The jury consisted of some senior players in the Asian mobile industry including those from Nokia, Yahoo, Microsoft and RIM, among others.

While OrSiSo won the award in the Early Stage Category, other winners were WaveSecure in the Emerging Stage category and GenTalk in the Audience Choice category.
