Tungsten ring vs Titanium ring

A tanker carrying 650,000 barrels of Venezuelan crude oil is reportedly bound for Europe, the first time Venezuela has exported crude to Europe in the past two years under US sanctions.  It is analyzed that the U.S. is making up for the European energy gap caused by the sanctions against Russia by giving the green light to Venezuelan oil exports. It is reported that Venezuela is rich in oil resources, with the current proven reserves of 300 billion barrels, ranked the world's first, oil export is also one of the country's economic pillars.

Germany will take emergency measures to ensure it meets its energy needs, including increasing its use of coal, the German government said recently, after a drop in gas supplies from Russia.

"In order to reduce gas consumption, it is necessary to reduce the use of gas for electricity generation," the Economy Ministry said in a statement. We're going to have to switch to more coal-fired power plants."

The measures announced that day also include an "auction" system to sell natural gas to manufacturers, according to reports. The German government says the system will help reduce gas consumption in manufacturing industries.

The measures come as Russian energy giant Gazprom recently warned that it would sharply cut gas supplies to Europe, the report said.

The supply and prices of international bulk tungsten carbide are still very uncertain.

Tungsten wedding ring and titanium wedding ring are the most popular ring styles on the market today. They come in a variety of colors and styles, as well as many unique types of tessellation and etching.

Tungsten ring vs Titanium ring
Of the two metals, tungsten is the strongest and more resistant to scratches. Tungsten carbide has a hardness rating of 8.5 to 9, while titanium has a hardness rating of 6. Tungsten can only be scratched by metals or materials of the same or higher grade, such as diamonds.
However, this does not mean that tungsten is necessarily a high-quality material. Because it is too hard, it is also very brittle. This means that if you put it down or under enough pressure, it may break or break, so it is not indestructible.

On the other hand, although titanium is much harder than gold and platinum, it is still malleable. This means that it is more flexible and will not break even if it falls, but it will deform in rare cases. Titanium has the properties of corrosion, loss of luster, scratch resistance and fracture resistance, so it is very suitable for making wedding rings and jewelry.

As a stronger and more durable material, tungsten has a heavier weight, which may feel when worn. On the other hand, titanium is very light in weight, even so durable. If you like lightweight materials and don’t want to wear heavy rings on your fingers, stick with titanium.

When choosing a wedding ring, consider these features and understand that a material may better suit your needs.

Will tungsten rings and titanium rings turn finger green?
Titanium and tungsten are naturally hypoallergenic, so they don’t turn your skin green or irritate people who are allergic to metals.

Titanium has 100% biocompatibility and is the preferred material for implants and bone plates installed in vivo.

It should be noted that tungsten may or may not cause a reaction, depending on the mixture of the alloy. When mixed with nickel or cobalt, it can cause skin reactions in people who are allergic to these compounds. If you are allergic to one of these materials, be sure to find items labeled ‘cobalt-free’ or ‘nickel-free’.

Can I change my tungsten ring or titanium ring color?
Although both materials have awe-inspiring colors, such as bronze or silver. Titanium is softer, so it can be anodized, which means it can be converted into a variety of colors, such as pink, red, blue and so on. It can also be done in a different way than tungsten, such as a satin appearance with a stronger texture.

If you want tungsten to have a unique color, don’t worry, it’s still possible. For tungsten, electroplating is used to give it a more unique appearance. Tungsten is very durable, but the coating sometimes wears or changes color over time, which means it may need to be recoated at some point.

With Russia taking the lead on Poland and Bulgaria at the end of last month, there appears to be a growing sense of compromise within the EU over whether to accept Moscow's proposed rouble settlement order.

Italy's prime minister said recently that European companies would be able to buy gas in roubles without violating sanctions.  This apparently ignores the guidance of hardliners in the EU to "fight to the end".

For weeks, European companies have been trying to find ways to meet Russia's payment demands for the rouble while maintaining vital gas supplies without violating sanctions against Moscow.

Late last month, European Commission President Von der Leyen said operating under the mechanism would violate sanctions and asked European companies not to bow to Russian demands. However, the EU has yet to issue more rigorous written guidelines on how companies should pay Gazprom.

The Italian prime minister said recently, "There is no official announcement from the European Union about what ruble settlement means for sanctions violations, and no one has said whether ruble payments violate sanctions or not. It's a grey area."

"In fact, most gas importers are already opening rouble accounts for deals with Gazprom,"

He also used German companies as a shield. He said Germany's largest gas importer had already paid in rubles. "In fact, we saw evidence yesterday that the largest gas importer in Germany has already paid in rubles."
