Kofax helps improve operational efficiencies with new e-signature solutions

Nurdianah Md Nur | Jan. 19, 2015
By integrating SignDoc to the TotalAgility platform, firms will be able to implement e-signature capabilities to any business process across their organisation.

Software provider Kofax Limited has rolled out its new SignDoc family of e-signature solutions to meet the increasing e-signature requirements in organisations.

SignDoc helps organisations improve their operational efficiencies by giving users the power to execute secure, digitally executed transactions using a wide variety of computing platforms and mobile devices. It supports "click to sign" and handwritten signatures, and can capture biometrics at the time of signing for improved security and authentication.

SignDoc also offers a complete audit trail of all interactions by allowing users to verify document integrity from within a PDF Reader, without requiring IT experts or accessing an external site. Furthermore, SignDoc's standards-based digital signing and self-contained document approach ensures that any post-signing tampering of the electronically signed document is immediately apparent.

While Sign Doc Standard is a stand-alone solution, SignDoc Enterprise is seamlessly integrated with Kofax TotalAgility, the company's process automation platform. By doing so, Kofax enables workflow automation by allowing organisations to add secure and authenticated e-signature functionality to their end-to-end business processes. The solution also provides process intelligence and visibility to ensure compliance, reduce risk and enhance operational efficiency.

"Digital transaction management is an emerging market category that defines a new way to conduct business," said Grant Johnson, Kofax's chief marketing officer. "With the introduction of SignDoc Enterprise and the integration of e-signatures into Total Agility,  Kofax is positioned to success in this market category."
