Consultant dietician, Indra Balaratnam, said: "Rather than experimenting with different fad diets, small changes in our eating habits can go a long way. We can start by eating out less, staying away from processed foods, eating smaller meals more frequently, piling up on vegetables and snacking on fruits and nuts. As you adapt to these small changes in your lifestyle, you will soon realise that taking care of your wellbeing is not so hard after all."
AIA's Wong said that to get people to start thinking about their own health, the online campaign invited Malaysians to send health report cards to their loved ones. "Unless we identify our weaknesses, we cannot correct them. Sometimes, we need to hear the truth about our lifestyle from our nearest and dearest before we will start to take action."
Malaysians can send their loved ones a Health Report Card (for more information, visit - healthreportcard.com.my.) based on your assessment of their eating habits, physical activity and emotional well-being.
