The crux of the matter is simple - end-user experience will ultimately affect the company's bottom line. Poor performing applications will influence the final decision made by the end-user, and this could result in a lost sale, higher income for your competitors or even an inefficient process for your employees due to their inability to access data on the go.
Businesses need to take proactive steps to ensure application performance doesn't hinder day-to-day business operations and hurt the company bottom line despite all the technological changes happening today. The best way to do that is to begin by looking at things from the viewpoints of people that will have the most impact on the business - the customers and the end-users.
