Also announces the general availability of the 9.0 version of the SAP Business One application.

SAP AG has announced a buy now, pay later offer to its small and midsize enterprise (SME) customers and released the 9.0 version of the SAP Business One application.

The new offer for SMEs provides zero-percent financing for up to 24 months for the purchase of any SAP product on the reseller price list.

In addition to reducing the cost of ownership of SAP solutions, this new offer provides rapid access to software licenses to its customers.

Todays' SMEs are challenged by the lack of readily accessing capital and SAP aims to give them a flexible option to invest in new technology that will help the company grow.

"SMEs want customized solutions at comfortable price points and with the option to access simple and compelling financing," said Kevin Gilroy, senior vice president and general manager, Global SME Segment and Indirect Channels, SAP. "With the "buy now, pay later" plan available via our extensive ecosystem of partners, we will be able to provide SMEs with an easy way to upgrade their current IT landscapes without worrying about costs."

Business in real time

The newly released version of SAP Business One for SAP HANA is designed to empower SMEs to run their businesses in real time.

This business management solution runs on the in-memory computing platform SAP HANA, and helps businesses analyze growing volumes of data in real time.

Version 9.0 version of the SAP Business One application is available on premise or in the cloud and hosted by partners.

The solution enables analysis of structured and unstructured information within seconds instead of days and prepares business for the future on both functional and technical levels.

"We are absolutely committed to the long-term success of SAP Business One, consistently responding to our partners and customers to build on and extend the product," said Rinse Tamsma, global vice president, SAP Business One Sales, SAP. "By bringing the latest in real-time analytics capabilities to SAP Business One, while consistently improving partner extensibility, we continue to deliver on the promise of offering a complete and scalable solution for companies to manage their businesses."
