Reliance Globalcom boasts US$100M worth of managed services contracts in 100 days

The services provider says there is an increase in demand for collaborative, application sharing capabilities, along with processes that could refocus internal IT resources

SINGAPORE, 1 OCTOBER 2010 Reliance Globalcom has boldly claimed that it has secured US$100 million worth of service contracts with customers in Asia and Europe over a stretch of 100 days between April and July.

A specialist in managed network services, Reliance Globalcom is a division of Reliance Communications, India's largest telecom operator.

Our global enterprise customers, across all sectors, have had to overcome significant challenges to maintain business growth over the last 12 to 18 months, said Punit Garg, President and CEO, Reliance Globalcom.

Being able to provide scalable solutions that maximise the value of existing internal resources either via enhanced collaboration or centralisation of multi-supplier network, contract and billing management has been critical to their success, added Garg. These contracts consist of new customer wins as well as renewals and service expansions, according to Reliance Globalcom executives.
