CWHK: Who are your competitors?
AS: The major one comes from Singapore but it targets five- or six star-hotels with pricey products.
CWHK: What are the major issues facing you?
AS: It's hard to hire high-quality R&D people. Many of them prefer to work for financial institutions that can pay more. Now seven people work for us—five of them are in R&D.
CWHK: What new products are you developing?
AS: We have developed a new product named TELY—a cloud-based VoIP system that allows guests to interact with agents through the TV screen in a guest room.
Hotel Icon in Hong Kong is piloting the system and we're receiving inquiries from Macau.
