SHENZHEN, CHINA, 27 APRIL 2011- The latest hospitality enterprise solution from DOCOMO interTouch is promoted as improving hotels' operational efficiency, allowing better management of IT hardware investment and offering services that differentiate them from their competition, according to the company.
The new cloud based solution - FREEDOM Internet v1.2- is based on the unique intellectual property of the Nomadix public access gateway.
DOCOMO interTouch says it provides a full suite of integrated solutions to the global hospitality industry. It says its new launch shows how committed they are to delivering applications that address the needs of hoteliers and guests.
"The easy to deploy new solution is user-friendly and future-proofed to support emerging complex communications requirements of the hospitality industry," the company said in a statement.
Range of benefits
DOCOMO interTouch's FREEDOM Internet application is promoted as offering guests quality in-room broadband Internet, without having to invest in expensive equipment.
Hoteliers now have the option to consolidate their disparate guest and back office LAN infrastructure onto a single, centralised platform. A simplified mobile user interface can also seamlessly support smartphones.
DOCOMO interTouch claims the hotel guests can now concurrently connect up to eight multiple devices to the Web with one Internet access purchase. FREEDOM Internet has also endeavored to simplify a hotel's internal operations through the provision of a unified hotel portal that streamlines administration, operation and reporting functions.
"As the leader in hospitality solutions, DOCOMO interTouch has a deep understanding of the pain points of the industry," said the company's CEO Charles Reed. "We have the solutions and the tools to help hoteliers meet their operational challenges, and to deliver high-quality broadband Internet applications that meet hotel guests' ever-growing communications demands. We are confident that our FREEDOM Internet application will enable both hoteliers and their guests to get more things done without expending additional resources."
