Parallels will announce the winners of the Second Annual Asia Pacific Partner Awards this week.
The company has announced the finalists of the awards and will hold the awards ceremony at Parallels Summit 2012 APAC in Singapore at Shangri-La's Rasa Sentosa Resort from 21 - 22 September 2012.
Parallels specialises in hosting and cloud service enablement and desktop virtualisation. The company has announced several award categories including the APAC Partner of the Year and APAC New Partner of the Year.
The APAC Partner of the Year award recognises a partner in the Parallels Partner Program that has experienced strong revenue growth and demonstrated innovation in their use of Parallels technology when serving SMBs with cloud services. GMO Cloud, iiNet and KT are finalists in this category.
"Parallels Asia Pacific Partner Awards recognise the most innovative and successful hosting and cloud service providers in the region," said David Dzienciol, regional vice president and general manager Parallels in Asia Pacific.
Demonstrating strong revenue growth
The New APAC Partner of the Year award is given to those partners whose first year in the Parallels Partner Program is highlighted by strong revenue growth and demonstrated innovation in their use of Parallels technology when serving SMBs. CtrlS, OzHosting.com and SunnyVision are finalists in this category.
Parallels in also offering Excellence in Innovation and Outstanding Solution for the SMB awards. Finalists for the Excellence in Innovation award are Clara Online, ReadySpace and Telstra. These awards are given to partners that exemplify the development and delivery of innovative services, marketing tactics or strategy, or technical creativity through use of Parallels products.
The Outstanding Solution for the SMB award is given to Parallels Partners who have created offers and services that enable their SMB customers to achieve superior productivity that equals enterprise standards. The finalists in this category are Otsuka Corporation, Ride and Vodien.
"The nominated organisations are all innovative examples of how to utilise Parallels products, solutions, services and ecosystem to increase their revenue, and profit from the rapidly-expanding small and medium business (SMB) cloud services market across APAC," added Dzienciol.
