"For core systems, security and response time are critical. For non-critical systems, cloud is going to take off," said Khoo.
Service providers can guide organisations along in cloud computing.
"We have taken quite a number of customers in Australia through a journey as they started to adopt cloud. We have led them from initial assessment and application identification to migration planning and execution. Telstra has a suite of services to help our clients understand where they are today and what they want to do. We are selling a flexible IT infrastructure and the support services to help clients move in and out," said Duggan.
