US-based IT solutions firm CA Technologies has refocused its attention on the Malaysian market with the signing of a partnership agreement with local ICT firm Microlink Solutions.
CA Technologies vice president for sales Asia South Victor Cheng said this agreement was part of its strategy to broaden its presence in growth markets across Asia South.
"The partnership with Microlink is a key piece of our strategy to open up new market opportunities in Malaysia," said Cheng. "Customers in Malaysia will be able to benefit from Microlink's extensive local network and technology expertise, and CA Technologies' innovative and vendor-neutral IT management solutions which are available across all platforms."
"The Country Representative Partner Model [CRP] enables CA Technologies to combine its technological leadership with the on-the-ground expertise of the CRP to provide the most relevant solutions to our clients in Asia South," he said. "This CRP model is integral to CA Technologies' strategy to grow the business exponentially in Asia South while improving operational efficiency."
Multimedia Supercorridor (MSC) status firm Microlink Solutions chief executive officer, Peter Yong, said: "We're pleased to be the first CRP appointed by CA Technologies in the Asia South region. Together, we will bring leading-edge business services and solutions, across platforms, from the areas of cloud, security and management, to the Malaysia market."
Established since 1994, Microlink Solutions is a Multimedia Super Corridor (MSC) status company listed on the ACE market. It specialises in the provision of end-to-end banking solutions for both conventional and Islamic financial institutions.
