GoSwiff today (12 October 2015) launched a new payment app that aims to help boost mobile transactions through mobile point of sale (mPOS).
According to the Singapore mobile payments and marketing services provider, the app is designed to help merchants better manage business processes, and streamline efficiencies.
One of the key highlights of the new app is the cash advance service, which allows cardholders to withdraw cash up to a certain limit through the mobile app. This will benefit consumers in emerging markets as they have limited access to ATMs or bank branches, said GoSwiff.
Another key feature is the location services configuration, which enables merchants to configure location services tied to transaction processing.
The app also features transaction notifications, which provide transaction status updates for third party apps such as inventory or order management systems.
Enhanced product catalogue
GoSwiff also launched enhanced product catalogue functionality for merchants on its mobile commerce platform. With product catalogue, merchants can manage, display and track product items, as well as create promotions on their online portal. Since the products are presented in the mPOS application, consumers can add them to a basket for a fast and easy checkout, said GoSwiff.
Product catalogue thus helps merchants to increase productivity and efficiency, as well as improve customer satisfaction, added GoSwiff.
