New chief to lead DHL Supply Chain in Malaysia

DHL has announced the appointment of Prakash Rochlani as managing director of DHL Supply Chain Malaysia.

DHL has announced the appointment of Prakash Rochlani as managing director of DHL Supply Chain Malaysia.

Prakash will report to Oscar de Bok, CEO Asia Pacific, DHL Supply Chain.

DHL Supply Chain Malaysia currently employs over 1,500 people over 25 locations nationally. In his new role, Prakash has overall responsibility for delivering world-class logistics operations in Malaysia and generating sustainable business growth.

His main focus will be delivering service excellence whilst maintaining a strong pool of local talent and operational capabilities.

Prior to the appointment, Prakash performed a number of roles in the company. He joined Al Futtiam Exel joint venture in the Middle East in 2003, and held management positions in operations and solutions design before taking on the role of director of business development for India in 2008.

In 2011, he was promoted to vice president, business development, South and Southeast Asia. Prakash is a graduate from The University of Mumbai, holds a certificate in Supply Chain from APICS, USA, and is currently working towards a Global MBA from INSEAD.
