Telco service provider, Optus, has revamped its bring your own phone (BYO) mobile plans.
The updated range introduces month-to-month post-paid plans for customers with existing network-unlocked mobile phones.
They are also provided with more mobile plan flexibility, and improved coverage with Optus' 4G network. Optus customer managing director, Vicki Brady, said customers who had purchased new mobile phones can enjoy more choice and flexibility while not being locked into a long-term contract, and those with hand-me-down phones can make the most of the new SIM-only plans.
"Whether you've waited in line for five hours to buy the latest smartphone or are still using a five-year-old mobile phone, Optus BYO plans deliver great value and all the rewards our post-paid customers enjoy," Brady claimed.
In addition, BYO customers will enjoy Optus rewards, including $10 movie tickets to Hoyts and selected independent cinemas, as well as the ability to earn Qantas Frequent Flyer points.
