The Singapore police is currently investigating the "unnatural" death of Autumn Radtke, the American CEO of Singapore bitcoin exchange, First Meta.
According to local newspaper The Straits Times, the police received a call at about 7am last Wednesday (26 February 2014) requesting for help at Radtke's home at Cantonment Close, where she was foundlying motionless. She was pronounced dead by paramedics shortly after arriving at the scene.
In a short paragraph on their website, First Meta shared their deepest condolences about Radtke's death. The paragraph reads: "The First Meta team is shocked and saddened by the tragic loss of our friend and CEO Autumn Radtke. Our deepest condolences go out to her family, friends and loved ones. Autumn was an inspiration to all of us and she will be sorely missed."
The virtual currency Bitcoin has been facing a lot of problems lately. Earlier this week, it was reported that Mt. Gox, another Bitcoin exchange, filed for bankruptcy.
