Malaysian WiMAX provider YTL Communications has launched four unlimited data postpaid subscription plans under its Yes 4G service to cater to different personal and work needs.
Speaking on 6 March 2012, YTL Communications chief executive officer Wing K. Lee said the four Yes Unlimited Super Postpaid plans would give consumers flexibility and freedom. "All our customers love the amazing speeds, stability, and consistency of our 4G network but some of them want the convenience of unlimited data usage and use-now-pay-later option of a postpaid subscription. We listen intently and we're pleased to offer them exactly what they want."
"Yes now offers a complete portfolio of price plans that provides the best value and performance, either postpaid or prepaid, any which way you look at it," said Lee. "The Super 48 plan offers data usage up to 1.5GB (gigabytes) for light users at RM48 (US$15.72), while the top plan - Super 168 - is for business users, offering data usage up to 10GB monthly at RM168 (US$55)."
"All plans come with unlimited data usage, with speeds as fast as 20Mbps [Megabits per second] across all plans and free Yes devices," he said. "Subscribers can also enjoy the lowest calls and SMS rate at nine sen [three US cents] per minute / SMS and the best IDD rates with Yes Life. With one Super Postpaid plan users can connect multiple Yes devices to get the Internet and telephony services and receive only one bill."
"We believe customers want a fair deal," said Lee. "When we designed our Super Postpaid plans, regardless of what customers pay us on a monthly basis, all of them will get to enjoy benefits of full 4G speed."
According to the Yes website, data usage above the limit linked to each plan is throttled and subject to fair usage policies.
