ASUS announced yesterday its success in clinching its first education tender in polytechnics in Singapore.
According to the computer hardware company, this success aligns with ASUS' goal in transforming and improving the overall digital experience for all students and staff.
Following this, ASUS said that it would be participating in the polytechnics roadshows, which started yesterday.
On different dates from March through April, ASUS will be visiting the five local polytechnics - Ngee Ann Polytechnic, Republic Polytechnic, Singapore Polytechnic, Temasek Polytechnic and Nanyang Polytechnic - to let students have a feel of their products before making their purchase.
Selected laptop models will be showcased at the roadshows, including the ZenBook UX303 and X550JK.
The ZenBook UX303 is a slim Ultrabook that comes with an onboard 8GB RAM, making it a lightweight powerhouse that allows students to multitask seamlessly anywhere.
On the other hand, the Mainstream X550JK is a high-performing laptop that does not compromise performance with price, according to ASUS. Featuring 8GB RAM and 240GB SSD storage, the X550JK comes with an affordable price tag and specifications for a practical usage.
"With the growing use of notebook computers as a learning and communication tool in various schools, ASUS would like to emerge as a one-stop technology provider that cater to all," said Alvin Huang, Country Manager (Systems) for ASUS Singapore.
