CyberArk Software has released CyberArk Threat Analytics 2.0, the latest version of its expert system for privileged account security intelligence.
A press statement by the Newton, Massachusetts-based vendor of information security solutions said the CyberArk Privileged Threat Analytics 2.0 enables customers to more quickly detect attacks to their systems.
This it does through its expanded analytics whose new self-learning behaviour-based algorithms pinpoint malicious privileged account activity once hidden in the huge masses of information gathered by big data analytics solutions.
The press statement said the information security solution collects and analyses privileged account activity, including pulling feeds from community information and security incident and event management (SIEM) tools to identify and rank seriousness of threats to a system.
CyberArk Privileged Threat Analytics cuts through the clutter made by traditional big data to detect in real time anomalies in the behavior patterns of individual privileged users and systems.
Such detection enables the quick detection of attacks in progress and the shutting down of the most likely avenue for moving laterally across the enterprise system.
The press statement said the expert system speeds deployment through out-of-the-box data feed integrations with HP ArcSight ESM and Splunk Enterprise.
