Content security specialist Websense has introduced a new Websense X10G model to aid large enterprises and service providers to easily stop advanced malware and data theft.
The scalable system features critical real-time data-aware contextual defenses, which are applied to all inbound and outbound requests.
The new Websense X10G is touted to defend against advanced malware and prevent intellectual property theft. Because the X10G model supports up to 16 blades, it can scale from 10,000 to 100,000 users per chassis.
What makes this solution work so effortlessly is the unique Websense X10G modular chassis architecture that goes beyond traditional legacy Web gateways relying on anti-virus (AV) and static URL filtering.
The X10G can correlate unified security intelligence in realtime for multiple classifiers, also allows IT to set policies once across platforms, and provides a "single pane of glass" for management and reporting.
Any global organisation can use the X10G in their headquarters, and protect remote workers and small branch offices through a unified cloud delivery capability.
Host of features
The newly announced solution can provide real-time composite risk scoring of security, data, and content classifiers combined with real-time cloud security intelligence and analytics.
Websense X10G embeds enterprise-class DLP for data-aware contextual security policies; classifies individual social networking and other Web 2.0 pages in real time across all policy categories; and unifies management of cloud and on-premise deployment options for a "single pane of glass" administration experience with policy re-use.
Moreover, the new Websense X10G supports the award-winning Websense TRITON architecture, which unifies Web, e-mail, and data security across cloud, on-premise, and unique hybrid deployments.
Both the X10G model and the TRITON architecture are also backed by Websense support services, which have won numerous awards.
