Although JPMorgan Chase is currently the only bank listed as an initial partner for access to the model, sources indicate that Goldman Sachs, Citigroup, Bank of America, and Morgan Stanley have also begun testing Mythos.

Anthropic announced the release of the model this week but said access would be temporarily restricted — in part because Mythos has proven highly effective at uncovering security vulnerabilities, even though it was not specifically trained for cybersecurity tasks. No obstant això, some have dismissed this as hype or simply a savvy enterprise sales strategy.

Notablement, the news comes against a complicated backdrop: Anthropic is currently battling the Trump administration in court over the U.S. Department of Defense’s designation of the company as asupply chain risk. That designation followed the breakdown of negotiations over how the government could use Anthropic’s AI models.

Mentrestant, the Financial Times reports that financial regulators in the U.K. are also assessing the potential risks posed by the Mythos model.
