Telluride Copper CoTe Powder

Telluride copper also known as alloys C15400 and C15400 semi-shared tellurium, TECU, and Copper tellurium – is a copper-based alloy containing different amounts of tellurium. Tellurium usually has a content of 0.4-0.7%, and phosphorus can be anywhere from 0.04 percent to 0.12 percentage.

Copper tellurium can be described as an alloy made of copper tellurium. Copper tellurium containing 0.4-0.7% tellurium has good machinability. The master alloy is telluride copper, which contains half the amount of tellurium as well as 50% of the copper.

Tellurium Copper has the following properties: atmospheric corrosion resistance; high temperature and conductivity hydrogen embedment (i.e. caused by the introduction or diffusion of hydrogen fracturing, weaken), 65-130HV hardness, good formability, 85-90% of machinability rating (if no cutting brass is used for 100), suitable to weld and braze, but not suitable for certain welding processes, like spot welding, oxygen-acetylene, resist welding, seam welding, and resistance welding.

It is a copper alloy with excellent machinability and high electrical and thermal conductivity. Copper tellurium alloy is known for having the highest cut performance. It is able to be cast, forged, extruded, drawn, blanked, and molded. The tellurium copper alloy can be made into plate, sheets, rods, wire, tubes, and many other forms. It is ideal for industrial use due to its properties. If you are interested in Telluride Copper CuTe Powder, please send us an inquiry.

Telluride copper cuTe powder performance:

Copper telluride can be described as a chemical substance having the molecular structure CuTe. Copper telluride can be described as a dark powder. It is very stable in ambient air and at room temperatures. Copper telluride, an inorganic mineral that is important for storing copper and tellurium resources, can also be stored as a great way to do so. Cu is used to replace Te in H2SO4 solutions. Copper telluride can be produced by replacing Te. It separates tellurium form many metalions and gives rise to a very high concentration. Te can either be + 4 or 6 valences when it replaces Te. These can all generate Cu 2 Te. This is because Te isn’t affected by the tellurium valence. Cu telluride, when exposed to an acid or base, can react chemically with these acids and bases. This is the key for seperating and recovering Cu and T. To put it simply, copper and tellurium combine at a higher temperature in order to separate the tellurium.

Telluride copper cuTe powder specification :

Room temperature stable at room temperature, black crystal powder. Copper telluride, an important organic material that stores large amounts of tellurium as well as copper resources, is also important.

How does Telluride Copper CopperCuTe Powder be made?

These steps are part of a preparation process for copper tellurium alloys:

1. After mixing high-purity copper with high purity tellurium as per the required ratios, or after placing them in layers of high pure copper and high quality tellurium respectively, the graphitecrucible is sealed. The graphitecrucible has been filled with protective gases to replace the oxygen in the graphitecrucible.

2. The graphite crucible can be placed in a synth furnace. After it is closed, the oxygen from the furnace chamber is transferred into the protective gases.

3. To ensure that the furnace is at 1.04.5MPa, add protective gas. The temperature of the furnace will also rise within the 60-90min, to 12001450. It then drops after 24h.

4. After the temperature has been lowered to below 100°C, the protective gas is removed from the synthesis oven to bring the pressure to normal. Finally, the furnace can be opened for the production of copper tellurium alloy ingot.

Telluride Copper Copper CuTe Powder .

Tellurium copper alloy is used primarily for high conductivity, high resistance to corrosion of precision electronic parts and electric components, advanced mechanical parts and electrical parts.

The tellurium copper alloy is available in a range of profile options, including sheet, plate, rod, wire and tube.

Indicators for contact material of charging piles were developed in the wake of the promotion and construction of new energy vehicles. Due to its high electrical qualities and ease of processing, copper tellurium can be successfully used as a high-current connector for new energy vehicle.
